潔西榜目前第一名的歌:  Jay-Z 的 Holy Grail ，真的很好聽，美國榜是第六名，先前潔西就超想翻，所以今天不用上課，昨天終於把 Holy Grail 中文歌詞 趕工翻譯出來。

 

昨天上課的時候新版的Interchange裡面剛好提到 Jay-Z，對話裡面喜歡的嘻哈歌手，潔西放了目前的愛歌給同學聽，很難解釋，不過很喜歡這首歌的旋律的安排，JAY Z的Rap的部分唱得很好，也挺有意思，不過潔西最喜歡的是大賈斯汀，也就是賈斯汀提姆布萊克Justin Timberlake的Hook的部分，真的是深深的勾住，It’s amaizng that I’m in this maze with you, but I just can’t crack the code困在迷宮解不開密碼逃出那段覺得盪氣迴腸啊，其實這整首歌是在說fame名聲，聲譽，聲望這個很多人追求的東西。得到名聲，失去名聲，媒體把你捧上天，又把你從天上摔下去，讓你死無葬身之處，趕儘殺絕。然後名聲給人帶來的用來一些失敗的栗子，當年紅極一時的饒舌歌手MC Hammer，還有有名但評價事件都很有爭議性的拳擊手Mike Tyson的事跡。

 

Holy Grail聖杯，其實是基督在最後晚餐用的那個杯子就叫Holy Grail，有改編成電影的丹布朗的小說達文西密碼裡面也占了大篇幅，另外在很多時候都會被比喻成美國夢American Dream，這裡JAY Z是用來比喻名聲。名聲對所有的大眾人物來說當很重要，但是要付出的代價也很大。越有名對事業越有利，但是呢也有相對的負擔，沒有隱私權。名聲是個令人又愛又恨的東西，JAY Z 的老婆是鼎鼎大名的碧昂絲，所以呢這又讓兩個人的一切都被媒體盯得緊緊的，連帶可愛的女兒上街都躲不過狗仔隊。但是呢，想要拋開卻又是拋不掉吧，整個心路歷程。雖說如此，但名聲又是令人上癮的，所以呢這首歌就有點說這之間的關係。另外有些聖經方面的隱喻我就翻大意而已。整首歌有點難翻，不過再翻下去沒完沒了，所以就先打住了，意思還有其他方面可能會有些詞不達意。但是還是希望有點幫助。也歡迎批評指教，翻譯真的很難啊XD

 

裡面還有一段是從超脫合唱團Nirvana的Smells Like Teen Spirit的歌詞 With the lights out, it’s less dangerous, Here we are now, entertain us, I feel stupid and contagious, Here we are now, entertain us改編過來的。也超喜歡。很可惜的是這個Nirvana的主唱Kurt Cobain在27歲的時候舉槍自殺了。

 

又，MV跟原本專輯裡面的歌的排列方式有點不同。最後的歌詞也少一段。有空時再來把專輯裡面的版本也放一下，差異不大，專輯裡是大賈斯丁開始，MV是JAY Z開始。第一個是MV的排列方式，英文歌詞跟中文歌詞對照，下面第二個部分是專輯裡面的，所以會是賈斯丁先唱。

 

因為某些原因，剛剛跟學生聊了一下，其實今天去洗溫泉，非常的舒服，也挺開心，不過呢因為學生的是對我影響挺大的，所以本來就睡不好，最近更糟，想說不要問太多，不想太難過，不問悶在心裡也很難過，總之大大難過啊，但也無奈，也沒什麼可以做，所以寫寫發發，念念，眼睛超痛的，試著去睡睡看。不要再難過了，每天睡覺前都會想他們的是，擔心，睡不著很多天，但是也不能做什麼，就只能默默祝福，希望能越來越好，吃個藥睡覺去，人生許多的無奈啊！
