第87屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳原創歌曲 電影逐夢大道 Selma 的主題曲 Glory

 

昨天潔西一早醒來看奧斯卡，先看到的是很喜歡的魔力紅的主唱 Adam Levine 唱的 Lost Stars，覺得還好耶，不知道為什麼這首歌唱現場唱起來很弱，然後當John Legend 坐在鋼琴前唱起 Glory 的第一句 One day when the glory comes 的時候，潔西相當肯定，得獎的一定就是這首歌了，那整個氣勢沒得比啊，加上後面的合唱，潔西自己覺得 Common 唱現場的 rap 沒有MV裡面唱的好，但水準也是有到啦，不負責個人言論大家聽聽就好。

 

這首歌先前就聽到就想翻了，但是因為有rap的部分大家知道都是很長的，而且這是有故事背景，沒有理解的話有點難翻。所以昨天晚上看完奧斯卡心情有點糟啊，怎麼有人可以看奧斯卡看得整個心情大壞呢？因為裡面很多感言都有很多發人省思的哭點啊，總之覺得轉換心情翻個歌好了，翻很久啊，翻到好躺在床上休息一下就連燈都沒關就躺平了。最討厭不關燈睡覺的潔西醒來想關燈的時候發現已經七點，掙扎不起來，就一直睡到十一點後起來改改歌詞。

 

這部片叫做 Selma 逐夢大道，是在說1960年代，黑人受到不平等的待遇，他們努力爭取自己的權利的影片。所以歌詞裡面有個Rosa指的就是當時 Rosa Parks拒絕把位置讓給白人，民權領袖馬丁路德金恩 Martin Luther King, Jr. 號召賽爾瑪黑人對於公共法進行抵制，是一段真實的歷史事件，從賽爾瑪 Selma 的遊行事件。

 

裡面也說到先前在佛格森沒有武器的黑人 Michael Brown 被警察槍殺。所以民眾遊行的時候把雙手高舉表示沒有武器，也是一種抗議。裡面也有一些宗教的隱喻在。另外 Jim Crow 吉勞克姆法是個對有色人種隔離的法律，crow 是烏鴉，用來跟 bald eagle 禿頭鷹，也就是美國的國鷹做對比。

 

然後潔西聽到 Common 跟 John Legend 上台領獎的時候眼淚又掉下來，哈哈，那來那麼多淚水，他們說到很多不正義不公平的地方，很多人民要爭取自主自由平等，香港的抗議，法國的遊行。在美國的黑人受到的不平等的待遇等等。

 

昨天的潔西又個超敏感超脆弱的心 vulnerability 有好有壞，對於事情的感受體會有如身受，衝擊力很強，很容易受傷，但是也很敏銳，感覺細胞都活了起來，讓人有著我是真正活得的那種感受，但是呢假如一直這樣下去的話很容易就會被洪水猛獸般龐大情感的衝擊力擊碎，所以有時候不得已還是要穿起盔甲用無動於衷來保護自己，有時想想會覺得人類很可悲啊！

 

興趣真的不能當飯吃，昨天翻譯大概弄了快三個小時，早上起來翻翻改改又寫寫廢言感想又花了兩個小時，五個小時翻一首歌，上次問人家喜歡電影為什麼不從事相關行業，現在就是馬上自己打臉，真的就是興趣只能當興趣啊。

 

聽歌聽歌，下面第一段是MV 裡面的歌，跟電影裡面的歌詞有些許的差別。其實翻一個就可以對不？但是機車的潔西就是兩個都檢查過，對過，不過潔西對於美國的歷史跟理解不是很強，翻譯的部分如果有錯的話再麻煩告訴潔西。另外他們那段感人的得獎感言也放在下面
