今天「水逆」，年輕人的新字，果然還是要問 Google 大師才能懂啊。繼續整理部了落格所講過的一些慣用語諺語俚語格言，有肇事逃逸，喝酒不開車，未成年請勿喝酒，福無雙至，禍不單行，網路霸凌等等的英文的說法。 明明什麼事都沒做的一天，還是非常想睡，超不多睡覺去，明天又是新的一天，打哈欠，晚安:)

I cannot tell you how much I hate when they do that!!!!!!!!!!! I mean a bus is pulling over to the curb, doors are opening and these assholes think it’s a great time to go between. I hit a young guy in the helmet once for almost hitting me when I got off the bus…I had to jump to get out his way and he tried to keep going so I hit him in the helmet. He said “Fxxk you" to me so I went back toward him and he sped away.

I hope the person that hit you gets hit by a bus. Really I do. No regrets about saying that.

有點在說人不會從錯誤當中學習。

Fool me once, shame on you. 在這裡fool當動詞，所以指的是騙人的意思。被你騙了一次，你是壞人，所以當然是你不好。你應該感到羞愧。英文Shame on you. 也會常用來罵人，有類似你很丟臉耶的意思。Fool me twice, shame on me. 那我都被你騙一次了還不夠，第二次還被你騙，那這個時候就只能怪我自己笨了，所以是Shame on me! 我很丟臉的意思。

這是從前棒球比賽下雨天取消比賽，可以再拿那個票根去看延期的比賽由來的樣子。

原本似乎是青少年不止情話綿綿更會用手機傳一些情色照片，現在就泛指用手機傳情色照片簡訊囉。

說到這個sexting，我再八卦一下，從前我有個奧地利朋友，他是在台灣區的財務經理但是到處在東南亞歐洲跑，常常開會，他們這些經理們都要各國跑，到處開會，開會作簡報的時候會用個人電腦作簡報，休息的時候常常會忘記其實電腦還投射在螢幕上，就開始看私人郵件，然後他就跟我說，他看到好幾次經理的老婆們傳清涼照給經理解解相思之苦，大家都大飽眼福，呵呵。

 

 

現在為了因應時代把一些縮寫都放到字典裡了呢！

OMG ：oh my god  我的天！這應該不用解釋吧！

LOL ：laughing out loud  大聲地笑  LUL

WAG ：wives and girlfriends 指的是足球選手們的伴侶們，意思應該就很花，玩伴很多

— denialist: n. a person who refuses to admit the truth of a concept or proposition that is supported by the majority of scientific or historical evidence.  否定主義者：拒絕承認有科學或歷史證據的主流觀念的人。比方說打死都不承認希特勒有虐殺猶太人的人。

 

— jeggings: pl. n. tight-fitting stretch trousers for women, styled to resemble a pair of denim jeans.  緊身牛仔褲：leggings是緊身褲的意思，jeans是牛仔褲，啊英文就很簡單吧，兩個字合起來，呵呵。

 

— mankini: n. (pl. mankinis) a brief one-piece bathing garment for men, with a T-back. 男生穿的比基尼：Borat這部爆笑的電影裡面的男主角穿的一種好笑的有點惡心的一件式泳裝，可以 Google 一下就可以看到，也是結合 man 跟 bikini 比基尼這兩個字。

 

— retweet: v. (on the social networking service Twitter) repost or forward (a message posted by another user). n. a reposted or forwarded message on Twitter. 在推特上轉推。就是像我們在FB上分享一樣。總之呢，有在玩一種社群網站服務叫推特的人，把別人寫的東西轉傳出去，就像你把郵件轉寄分享的意思一樣

 

— sexting: n. informal the sending of sexually explicit photographs or messages via mobile phone. 色情簡訊

 

— woot: exclam. informal (especially in electronic communication) used to express elation, enthusiasm, or triumph. 棒！讚！類似這類表達勝利歡呼開心的意思。
