多益 第一部分 聽力 照片描述     TOEIC   Listening  Part 1 Photographs

A 考法：多益第一部份為聽力的照片描述題，共六題。每一題對應了一張黑白照片印在試題本上，對應每張照片考生會聽到四個句子的選項，須選擇將該照片描述的最完整正確的句子，作答在答案卷上。四個選項的錄音內容不會出現在試題本上，每一題的作答時間約五秒左右。

B 內容：照片中最常見的是有人物的照片，其次是場景跟物品。常見主題為交通工具，會議，辦公室，工廠，工地，餐廳，購物，街道，物品擺設等。

1 人物的活動 (activity) 如： The man is chopping wood.

2 人,事,物的一般狀況 (general situation) 如：The vehicles are stuck in traffic.

3 場景的空間關係 (spatial relationship) 如：There’s a statue in the corner.

C 做題技巧： 

1 找出主題：一開始會有範例題的解說，可以不用聽，先快速看過照片。看圖時找出照片的主題 main theme，再看細節部份 details。假如是人物題，先看人的動作與位置，再觀察人與其他事物間的關係，非人物題則看物體的擺設，所在位置跟狀態，然後預測你所將會聽到的句子。

2 常考句型：第一部份的句型多是主詞 + 動詞 + 受詞 + 介系詞片語。注意答案選項的每一個部份都要與照片符合才是正確選項。The man is hanging some photographs on the wall.

3 意義干擾：動詞是最常見的錯誤選項。例如圖片中是客廳，後面有窗簾，有桌子，有椅子，一個男人正在關燈。符合圖片的正確句子：The man is switching off a lamp. 錯誤的可能是 The man is opening some curtains. 另外常見的干擾為錯誤的句子中會提到照片中出現的名詞，動詞或介系詞片語，但整句描述的為非正確句子。錯誤可能是 The chair is being cleaned. 

4 發音干擾：錯誤的句子裡有時會出現與照片內容相似的發音也常為干擾選項，如 work 跟walk 之類的相似音，dress 跟 address 要特別留心聽清楚。

5 時態注意事項：

a 最常見的是現在進行式，一定要是主詞正在做某動作。如：She’s holding some flowers.

b 現在進行被動式，一定要主詞正在被加諸於某動作。如：Merchandise is being taken off a shelf.

c 現在簡單式的 be 動詞後面加形容詞或當形容詞用的過去分詞表狀態，也可以加介系詞片語。

   如：The baskets are empty. / The man is seated by a window. / Some bags are on display. 

d 現在完成式或現在完成被動式常表示動作完成了，狀態依舊存在。

   如：The bookshelves have fallen over. / Some boxes have been stacked in a corner.

e There is/There are 句型常用來表某個地方有某樣(些)東西，可搭配現在分詞修飾主詞

   There are signs along the roadside. / There’s a ladder leaning against the building.

6 跟唸選項：做題時可以不出聲地跟唸每個答案，確認是否與照片符合。

7 避免塗改：聽力做題時當聽到覺得正確的答案時，把筆放在認為正確的答案上，除非聽到更好的答案，否則不要移動鉛筆，聽完一題後快速塗滿答案，然後往下一題。這樣可避免選錯塗改。塗改易分散注意力，造成漏聽。沒聽清楚或不確定時，選一個最有可能的，接著迅速往下看下一題照片，準備做題

8 善用消去法：遇到不懂的單字時試著忽略不懂的部份，專著於聽得懂的部份。並利用消去法，把錯誤的選項除外後，即使剩下的有不懂的單字，不確定意思，但該答案應該就是正確的。

 人

1 She’s adjusting a bicycle seat/a pull-down screen/microphones.

   她正在調整腳踏車的座椅/一個下拉的螢幕/麥克風。

2 He’s arranging the shelves.

   他正在排列架子上的東西。

3 Jessie’s nephew is standing on his hands in front of the Eiffel Tower.

   潔西的外甥正在艾菲爾鐵塔前倒立。

事物

1 The bicycles are lying on the grounds.

   腳踏車放在地上。

2 Stones across the road are blocking the traffic.

   橫放在馬路上的石頭阻擋了交通。

3 The Gingerbread Man is trying to escape.

   跑跑薑餅人整準備逃跑。

二 現在進行被動 S + am/is/are + V-ing + V3 

1 The vehicle’s windows are being cleaned.

   車輛的窗戶正在被清潔。

2 The traffic is being directed by an officer.

   警察正在指揮交通

3 Jessie’s niece is being kissed by a sea lion.

   潔西的外甥女正在被海獅親。

4 The selfie is being taken by Jessie.

   潔西正在自拍。

三 現在簡單 S + am/is/are + V3/形容詞  

1 Customers are lined up to pay for their books.

   顧客們排成一排要付錢買書。

2 The shelves are filled with boxes.

   架上放滿了盒子。

3 An airplane is parked on the runway.

   一架飛機停在跑道上。

四 現在簡單 S + am/is/are + 介系詞片語  

1 The restaurants are full of diners.

   餐廳擠滿了用餐的人。

2 A bridge is under construction.

   一座橋正在整修。

3 The cat is on the table.

   貓在桌上。

1 Skyscrapers tower over the harbor. 

   高樓大廈聳立在港口上。

2 The restaurant has an outdoor seating area.

   這家餐廳有戶外用餐區域。

   桌子上有十二個杯子蛋糕。

六 現在簡單表未來 S + be about to + V0 

1 The passengers are about to board the ferry.

   乘客們打算要搭渡輪。

2 The cat is about to jump. 

   貓咪準備要跳了。

七 現在簡單 There is/are …               

1 There are many lanes of traffic.

   有許多車道的交通。

2 There are signs along the roadside.

   沿著路邊有些號誌。

3 There is a cat in the backpack. 

   背包裡面有一隻貓。

八 現在完成  S + have + V3                

1 A train has pulled into the station.

   一輛火車開進車站。

2 The bookshelves have fallen over.

   書架倒了下來。

3 The woman has left her seat. 

   那個女生已經離開了座位。

九 現在完成被動 S + have + been + V3    

1 Potted plants have been arranged along the border of the patio.

   盆栽被沿著露台的邊緣排放著。

2 The closet has been emptied.

   衣櫃已經被清空了。

3 The fish have been caught. 

    魚被捉到了。

4 The snacks and beer have been put on the table. 

   桌子上放了零食跟啤酒。

The box is filled with macarons.
