【潔西家】所有格關係代名詞 whose

今天的照片是在墨爾本十二門徒石 The Twelve Apostles 附近拍的,其實是男用洗手間的外觀,仔細看一下可以看到 GENTS ,指的是男用洗手間,女用則是 LADIES。似乎是原住民風格的圖。啊,我們還有去一個博物館看原住民吹一種很長的樂器,忘記名稱了,來找找。找到了,叫做 didgeridoo ,發出一種很特別的聲音,去法國的馬賽的時候也有看到有人在演奏同樣的樂器,那麼長怎麼帶上飛機啊?

突然想到在澳洲有看到各式各樣的街頭藝人,演奏樂器之外,表演的也不少,也會跟觀眾互動,蠻好玩的。跟團去的話就比較少會看到街頭藝人的表演,自己去到處亂晃的時候就會在某些地方看到,也有看過玩火的,真的蠻酷的。台北的話大概就是西門跟信義區會看到有街頭藝人表演。street performance 街頭表演。街頭藝人應該就可以用 street performancer 。先前看到大寶的 IG ,他去台南的樣子,似乎是為了藝術節之類,也有不少類似的表演,真的很不錯。

對了白晝之夜 Nuit Blanche 快到了,這是個從法國巴黎開始,在每年十月的第一個星期六晚上六點到星期天早上六點,舉辦各種文化活動,台北也辦了幾年,今年是在南港,有人要跟潔西老人一起去看看的嗎?還沒去過呢,覺得應該很好玩呢!

今天一早起來就做講義跟影片,不知道在認真什麼,哈哈。餓死了,都快一點了,要去炒年糕吃了,好久沒做菜了,這不太會失敗的,吃飯去!Have a good day!

A 當我們把兩個句子連結時,可以用所有格關係代名詞 whose 來取代 his, her, its, their 等所有格,這是比較正式的用法。

He went to a meeting. He didn’t understand its purpose.

B 當先行詞,也就是形容詞子句修飾的是受詞或主詞補語,位置在句尾時,形容詞子句就接在字尾。

C 當先行詞的位置是在主格的位置時,形容詞子句就會接在主詞的後面,插入句子的中間,形容詞子句後面會加動詞,再加其他部分。

【潔西家】劍橋文法 中級 90 關係子句/形容詞子句 所有格

明明簡單地講一下又是十七分鐘。練習題的部分大概佔一半,所以呢可以看影片解釋就好,自己做題目對答案。影片有顏色比較容易懂。沒看過形容詞子句關係代名詞主格根受格的人可以先看前面的話比較容易理解。

超累的,今天白跑一趟市政府站,來回各一個多小時,還等了學生半個小時,沒上成課,去晃了一下誠品書店,看到幾本想買的書,但是強烈懷疑自己買了會看嗎?所以還是放棄了。看到好多想吃的東西,因為減肥中,所以都用看的,抹茶冰淇淋超想吃的,還是算了。

沒有上課沒有賺錢不要花錢比較實在,不是很喜歡斤斤計較的感覺,但是彷彿到了一個不能不計較的年紀了,嗚嗚嗚。

脖子跟背又好痛,可惡,明明沒上課還是很累,居然也有點想睡了,早點睡明天早上起床去游泳吧,還有要打掃要打掃,加油中!

五 關係代名詞為所有格時

形容詞子句中關係代名詞為所有格時,不管是人還是事物都用 whose 這個關係代名詞。它表示誰的,所以後面一定要加名詞,合起來一起當形容詞子句的主詞或受詞。whose 比較常用在人。

主詞:

彼得照顧一隻腳在意外中斷掉的狗。

Peter was looking after a dog. Its leg had been broken in an accident.

Peter was looking after a dog. The dog’s leg had been broken in an accident.

(Peter was looking after a dog the dog’s leg had been broken in an accident.) (X)
