想要知道你的文法程度如何嗎?下面是 How English Works 這本書裡面的一些測試,分基礎 basic , 中級 intermediate , 進階 advanced 三個程度。基礎是對於一些比較基本的文法點,比方說名詞單複數,可數不可數名詞,冠詞定冠詞,比較級,現在簡單式,現在進行式等。中級的話比較多的時態,過去簡單式,過去完成式,過去進行式等,另外有假設語氣,助動詞,動詞的接續。進階有難啊,有名詞子句,形容詞子句,副詞子句,還有一些慣用法,跟一些比較細節的部分。
這些題目難在他們是單選題跟 “複選題" 都有,所以真的要非常清楚,不能用猜的。有些事比較非正式的用法,另外基礎的部分有些單字是故意拼錯的,當做錯誤的選項。基本上潔西覺得基礎跟中級部分假如能對到五十題,那文法觀念就算很好了,不過,潔西讓同學做的經驗是通常錯的比對的還多,複選真的是有難啊!潔西自己在最後進階部分也錯了不少題,不過進階有些題目真的比較刁,自己自我安慰兼解釋XD
下面是心情不好的碎碎念,可以直接跳過做題目。
潔西學生晚上有個大比賽,兩隊都是潔西的學生,住在一起的兄弟隊爭奪冠亞軍賽,非常精彩的比賽,兩隊表現的都非常好,但是既然是比賽就是會有勝負,打的是bo5: best of five 也就是最先贏三場的隊伍獲得勝利。比到第四場是各勝兩場,第五場要開始比賽的時候,潔西突然就超難過,眼淚開始一直流。因為知道有一隊一定贏比賽會很開心,但也有一隊鐵定會輸,會很傷心。手心手背都是肉啊!
打完第五場比賽,看到學生得到冠軍的歡樂表情,有開心,但看到學生輸掉比賽的表情,胃都開始痛了起來。因為這個隊伍的大部分學生潔西都教了超過一年,有些甚至是快兩年,去年他們跟資格賽也是一步之差飲恨沒能代表台灣出賽,潔西也是超難過。五點開始的比賽,比完都快十一點了,真的是非常辛苦。而且其實他們平常就非常認真的練習,花了很多時間很努力,唉,心疼這些小朋友。潔西本身就是個超情緒化,每次都想說不要看他們比賽了,因為只要他們輸了比賽,潔西就心情不好啊。
看的其實本來很餓的,沒吃晚餐啊,但是看完連飯都吃不下,難過啊!寫著寫著又繼續流眼淚,潔西真的覺得自己太多愁善感,太敏感,不過個性就這樣吧,也真的很喜歡那些可愛的學生,先前他們比賽輸了,潔西都會寫信去安慰他們,不過今天真的很難過啊,自己都安慰不了了。想他們一定更難過,就不吵他們了。但是又很鬱卒,所以就把先前打字的文法練習校對,順便重做過。自己都覺得好笑,不愧是英文老師啊,心情不好的時候居然做文法練習來分心XD
Queen 的 The show must go on 潔西先前學生輸掉比賽時給學生加油的歌,真的就是戲還是要演下去,還有更重要的比賽等著。另外還有 Kelly Clarkson 的 What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger 沒有殺死你的會讓你更強壯。還有 Fun 的 Carry on 繼續下去。人生就是這樣由一個又一個的挫折失敗組成,走來一路順利的人恐怕數得出來,可以的話當然不想要有失敗,不過呢實際上遇到挫折失敗而從中學習的人真的是會越來越強壯,越來越堅毅。
潔西遇到很多,但還是不夠堅強啊,呵呵。最近其實狀態很不好,有點焦慮吧,前陣子天氣不好,整個人一個崩潰邊緣,每天沒做什麼事就累到爆,昨天也是,勞心吧。昨天整理一下東西,本來想做蛋糕給同學吃,因為上星期很不好意思,因為臨時生病,只好請假,讓同學白跑一趟,不過因為大寶在球場看人家打籃球的時候被救球的人膝蓋撞到,眼睛上方眉毛下方有個超大傷口,傷口太大,又在眼睛上方,潔西實在不會處理,所以就帶大寶去診所,醫生說要縫針,要到大醫院,潔西又帶著大寶到雙和掛急診。
急診超多人的,潔西發現自己一個星期跑兩次急診,實在是有點噩夢啊。醫生在幫大寶縫針的時候,潔西不太敢看,很恐怖,而且縫好久,紗布都是血,雖然知道不嚴重,還是焦慮到一個極點。大寶事後跟潔西說,其實當下流了很多血,他滿頭滿手的血,他怕被罵,買了一瓶水,先把傷口沖洗過,手跟臉的血擦掉再回家,免得嚇死潔西。真的是不知道該稱讚他懂事還是罵他呢?潔西今天帶大寶一起去樓上的廟拜拜,昨天坐計程車去醫院的時候司機也關心一下,快過年了,是啊,真的是要健健康康平平安安啊!
剛剛突然想到,大寶今天說要去跟撞傷他的朋友說他沒事,恩,也不是沒事,不過潔西覺得他就是個很體貼的孩子啊。然後潔西突然想到,潔西跟老姐都沒有問說那個撞到的人是誰。那個人應該也嚇死了吧,看到大寶流那麼多血。潔西覺得真的就是大寶運氣不好,也不會想要找他的朋友或家長理論,就一個意外。電視上好像都會演哪種得理不饒人的家長。當然或許更嚴重的話又是另外一回事。不過運氣也不算太不好,還好不是傷到眼睛,是上方,不然就真的嚴重了,感謝老媽跟天上的神有保佑。
亂寫一通,心情真的有比較平復了,胃還是不舒服,太焦慮了吧,最近。今天又緊張過度,看學生比賽真的看到心臟病都快發作了。其實早上天氣好,心情超high的,覺得自己是無敵萬能,狀況超好的,還想去捐血,後來想想,恩,沒有真的那麼好,明明上星期六才去急診的,還是不要鬧了。就一個獅子座,天氣好,心情好時都覺得自己是無敵,唉,該睡了。最近眼睛很不舒服,所以幾乎不太能看電腦或手機,今天又用超時了,雖然一點也不想睡,但是還是要睡覺去,昨天完全沒吃安眠藥,累到不知怎麼睡著了,早上起來發現筆電摔在地上,暈倒,還好潔西房間太亂,筆電下面還有東西擋著,沒直接摔,不然就要花大錢了。今天要先把筆電關機收好先。希望潔西的周遭的人都平平安安健健康康,潔西不可以哭了啊,心情不好抵抗力會大減,要保持好心情。加油加油!贏比賽的學生恭喜,輸了的學生下次的大比賽一定會贏的,要有信心,兩隊今年都會代表台灣去參加比賽,加油!!!

1.請問這本書值得買嗎?文法書除了azar還有哪些值得買呢?
2.我第一次多益考510,後來把ets全部官方試題做熟並花了一年用心準備,
去年12.29 再考第二次,結果覺得來不及作完,我感到很失落,我也有測試自己的速度
錯誤很少,但怎正式考試時還是寫不完也不是很有把握,ets不是有所謂的信度嗎?
怎麼會是這樣的結果,我真的不知道第三次考試如何是好,也不知要隔多久再去考
文法也還好很多寫得不次錯的啊,只是範圍廣,也不一定學到的就是會考到的,學起來對自己的英文有幫助。
這本書是要讓英文有些概念的人來釐清一些文法點,好像有中文版了,或是在敦煌書局有看過這個作家分三本書出書來。

不知道你的準備是怎麼樣的準備。ETS的確是有一定的信度,我自己參加正式考試跟我做他們官方的書的成績都非常接近。
他們的官方三個版本的試題是用來測試程度,適合用來測量自己的程度或考前衝刺用。假如你在考前用他們的練習第一次做,完全按著時間考有寫完,正式考試就應該不會做不完。他的題目會有相似性,但其實會非常不同。主要還是要自己多做文法的練習,多閱讀相關的商用書信文章來增加自己的程度。假如只有看他那幾本書,做熟那些考題可能不太夠,因為題庫很廣,不太會考同樣的考古題,再說有些題目如第一版很舊了。單字其實考來考去沒有差很多,但是要能活用,還有很多新的東西,新的單字會出來,所以還是要在各方面加強,才能考出真正的實力喔:)

接下來我就直接描述我去年如何準備多益正式考試,去年我那時還在補習~我那位老師試用正式考題當講義來上課,上完課我回家後就反覆練習~不論是補充單字跟閱讀部分的答題技巧我都有花時間去練習記熟~到一段落後我便先停課,回家開始自修,每天都花5-6小時在上課資料跟ets官方試題上面~聽力就是聽關鍵字並預看題目~閱讀部分就是先看題目~收件人,寄件者,標題副標主旨~找關鍵字~我也把聽力考題錄到ipod上面~搭車坐捷運跑步都在聽,到一個段落後,我測試過自己的實力(完整從第一部分到第七部分計時考試)~錯大概都10題內~去年ets也出了單字書~我也是一直看一直背~到了去年12.29我參加正式考試,我也明白不可能內容照參考書出,不過我發現還是有落差在,不管是答題速度或是聽力都感到蠻受挫的,所以現在很惶恐不知該如何準備下次的多益考試
首先就您測試自己的實力的部分,用的是官方最新第三版的考古題嗎?要是沒做過的才會准,假如先前有做過的話,因為對題目很熟悉,那就完全測試不出實力了。
再來,對於內容是否都了解,聽力的部分確確實實的聽得懂,而不是用猜的,閱讀的部分,文法的各個要點是否都熟悉,閱讀測驗是否大部份的單字都知道,熟記,文章知道大意,表達的內容,暗指的意思等等。
其實考古題的內容有限,但是實際上的範圍卻是相當的廣。要看自己的聽力,是否有相當程度,可以去聽聽CNN, BBC等的新聞,看了解多少,雖然會偏難,但假如多益可以考到八九百分,找生活化的題目,如天氣之類應該可以聽懂七八成。市面上也很多書用英文的書,找一些不看中文翻譯,看看自己理解多少,這也是了解自己程度的方式。
光是為了準備考試,做考古題,英文可能不容易進步,主要還是對文法要比較熟悉,大量閱讀考試範圍方面的文章,聽大量的對話。而且要是能完全消化理解。這樣比較能有進步吧。每個人學習能力方式步調不同,我想你要找出對自己有效的學習方式,找出自己的問題點所在一步一步調整或許能拿到比較好的成績。

我沒有看過那本書,所以沒法給任何評論。
我自己覺得這本還不錯,但是有點舊了,裡面的內容,沒有能更新很可惜,跟實際的考試還是會有段差距。書只是參考,我已經把原先推薦兩個字改掉,因為沒有一本書能幫你準備好一個考試的,光靠一本書就能準備的考試也沒有所謂的信度了,我想我能說的我大致上都說了,祝你好運:)
