不少人很喜歡用 Me too. 甚至有時候還有 Me three. 出現，用來表示有相同的意見。但是這是要對方的句子是肯定句時，假如對方的句子是否定，要表達同意就不可以用 Me too. 要用的是 Me neither. 才是正確的。
今天要說的是有關的用字 so, too, neither, not either 的用法。對某些初級的人來說可能還不知道助動詞是哪一個的可能會比較難懂。可以試著聽聽看講解，希望有點幫助。
A 表達相同意見
在表達對於對方的肯定的意見認同的時候常會用 too, so 的表達方式，對於對方的否定的意見認同，表達自己也有相同的否定的想法的時候常會用 either, neither。中文翻譯都是也，但是英文要用不同的表達方式，要特別注意。
- 肯定句：表達對一個肯定句有相同的看法，贊同時可用下列句型。
S=subject 主詞
A= Auxiliary Verb 助動詞 (am, is, are, was, were, be, do, does, did, have, has, had, will,
would, can, could, may, might, should 等。)
- Me too.
- S + A, too.
主詞＋助動詞, too.
- So + A + S.
So＋助動詞＋主詞. (倒裝句型)
A: I am allergic to seafood. B: Me too. / I am, too. / So am I.
A: I have a pet. B: Me too. / I do, too. / So do I.
A: I have had champagne. B: Me too. / I have, too. / So have I.
A: I ate a cheese omelette for breakfast. B: Me too. / I did, too. / So did I.
A: I can play mahjong. B: Me too. / I can, too. / So can I.
注意：現在簡單式與過去簡單式一般動詞的句子本身沒有助動詞，所以改否定或疑問的時候需要助動詞 do, does 或 did。這些句型的助動詞要特別注意。
- 否定句：表達對一個否定句有同樣否定看法，不贊同時可用下列句型。注意 niether 有否定的意思，所以用 neither 的時候就不用再有 not。
- Me neither. (Me either.)
- S+ A + not either.
主詞＋助動詞＋ not ＋either.
- Neither + A + S.
Neither＋助動詞＋主詞. (倒裝句型)
A: I wasn’t at the party. B: Me neither. / I wasn’t either. / Neither was I.
A: I didn’t have a fever. B: Me neither. / I didn’t either. / Neither did I.
A: I haven’t been to the U.S. B: Me neither. / I haven’t either. / Neither have I.
A: I won’t give up. B: Me neither. / I won’t either. / Neither will I.
A: I can’t stand spicy food. B: Me neither. / I can’t either. / Neither can I.
- 並合句避免重複：並合句為了避免與前面的動詞重複，也可以用 and 連接兩個子句，第二個子句中省略動詞，用助動詞與 too, so 來表達兩者皆 … 的肯定句型。用 and 連接兩個子句，第二個子句中省略動詞，用助動詞與 either, niether 來表達兩者皆不…的否定句型。注意其中 so 跟 neither 的句型要倒裝。
- 肯定句
- S + V, and S + A too.
主詞＋動詞, and 主詞＋助動詞＋ too.
- S + V, and so + A + S.
主詞＋動詞, and ＋ so ＋助動詞＋主詞
They are hungry, and I am too.
My parents get up early, and my brother does too.
Tim has seen a live concert, and so has his girlfriend.
Lisa went to the class reunion, and so did I.
- 否定句
- S + A + not + V, and S + A + not + either.
主詞＋助動詞＋not＋動詞, and 主詞＋助動詞＋not either.
- S + A + not + V, and neither + A + S.
主詞＋助動詞＋not＋動詞, and neither ＋助動詞＋主詞.
He doesn’t like Korean dramas, and I don’t either.
Penny shouldn’t eat too much, and you shouldn’t either.
My father can’t drive, and neither can my mother.
Ken wasn’t at home, and neither was Dory.
